BALTIMORE, Md. -- 
Behind 13 kills from Yaniris Miller-Green and nine more from both Miajavon Coleman and Ammaarah Williams, Coppin State swept Howard 3-0 (25-22, 25-11, 25-21) in a battle for first place in the MEAC on Sunday afternoon at PEC Arena. 

The Eagles, who split the season series with the Bison, stand alone in first place at 19-8 overall and 10-1 in league play.
 
With the win, head coach Tim Walsh recorded his 100th all-time career victory. Walsh has gone 75-89 in his six seasons at Coppin, while recording an impressive 46-26 (.639) in MEAC play. Over the last five years, the Eagles are 71-63 (.530) with a 42-18 (.700) record in conference games.

Delaware State 3, South Carolina State 0

DOVER, Del. -- 
Delaware State earned its third-straight MEAC win after defeating the Bulldogs of South Carolina State 3-0 at Memorial Hall on Sunday.
 
Offensively as a team, Delaware State recorded nearly four times as many kills as South Carolina State, led by junior middle blocker Alondra Maldonado, who landed a match-high 11. With three assisted blocks, Maldonado finished the afternoon with a match best 12.5 points.
 
Junior outside hitter Valeria Otero also notched a double-digit point performance (11) after racking up nine kills, one solo block and one service ace.

Norfolk State 3, Morgan State 0

NORFOLK, Va. -- 
In addition to banners and plaques, Norfolk State's seniors received the most special going-away gift of all this weekend: a Senior Day sweep.
 
The Spartans (6-14, 6-4 MEAC) defeated Morgan State (3-22, 2-9) 3-0 on Sunday by set scores of 25-23, 25-15, and 25-22. With the sixth victory in conference play and three matches remaining, the Spartans clinched their first six-plus win MEAC record since 2013.
 
Prior to the match, Norfolk State honored five seniors, each of them making contributions in the ensuing match. Nicole Rodriguez posted nine kills and three assists, Carla Hernandez tallied nine digs and six kills and Paola Maradei racked up five kills and two blocks.

Myleah Carter notched four digs and a kill, while Siera Jones added two digs and a service ace.
