Delaware State's Jones Wins Fourth MEAC Fans' Play of the Week Poll

Watch the Play

Delaware State defensive lineman Carrington Jones made a defensive stop this past Saturday that wound up as the winning play in the Week 4 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's (MEAC) Fans' Play of the Week poll.

In the closing seconds of the first half, Merrimack quarterback Westin Elliott took the snap from shotgun and dropped back. As the pocket collapsed, he stepped forward, right at midfield, at which point Jones reached out to his right, got a handful of Elliott's jersey, and dragged him to the turf.

Murray's catch racked up nearly 58 percent of the total vote. Check back to MEACSports.com next Monday for the next poll to cast your vote after this coming weekend's action.
