NCAT Eliminates Delaware State, is Eliminated by Arkansas State

NORTH KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- 
North Carolina A&T State's first chance at winning a national championship in 2021 came to an end on Thursday. 

The Aggies opened the day by eliminating Delaware State in a 2-1 Mega Match thriller, but Arkansas State eliminated the N.C. A&T Aggies (56-10) in the NCAA Bowling Championship Tournament at AMF Lanes by winning both Mega Match formats in the Region 3 matchup.

Delaware State Eliminated by North Carolina A&T State

NORTH KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- 
Nationally-ranked Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) rivals Delaware State and North Carolina A&T State battled to the limit before the Aggies prevailed in a thrilling NCAA Tournament regional contest at AMF Pro Bowl Lanes on Thursday.

NCA&T, ranked fourth in the latest National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) Top 25 poll and a No. 1 tournament seed, won two of the three tourney formats to advance to the next round, while the No. 12 Hornets are eliminated after suffering their second loss of the tournament.
