North Carolina A&T State Qualifies for USBC Nationals
SMYRNA, Tenn. -- North Carolina A&T State bowling continued its historic season with qualifying for the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Nationals in three weeks.
The Aggies finished second after Saturday's 20 matches with 3,898 total pins for an average of 194.9. They bowled nine games of 200-plus.
NCAT had the third-highest pin total Sunday with 3,758 pins for a 20-match average of 187.9 to finish the regionals in third place with 7,656 total pins. They averaged 191.4.
The Aggies recorded nine matches of 200-plus Sunday, including four consecutive 200-plus in game 25-28.

Robb, Hornets Shine at USBC Sectionals
DAYTON, Ohio -- Delaware State will compete for the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Intercollegiate Team Women's National Championship. The Hornets punched their ticket to next month's national championship in Wyoming, Mich., after finishing first among 16 teams at the ITC sectional.
The top four teams from the four sectionals advance to the national championship.
Delaware State had a total pinfall of 3979 after 20 games to lead the field in the Baker competition. Duquesne is second with 3755.
The top four teams in each regional advanced to the ITC national championship tournament, May 5-8 in Wyoming, Mich.
Delaware State junior Katie Robb has already punched her ticket to the USBC Intercollegiate Singles Championships.

Monmouth Advances to USBC Nationals
DAYTON, Ohio -- Competing in its first-ever USBC Sectionals event, the Monmouth University bowling team delivered outstanding team and individual performances over the weekend at Poelking Lanes South.
During Friday's individual ISC competition, freshman Jenna Lehrer placed second among 151 competitors and was one of six bowlers to advance to the National Singles Championship. Lehrer will be one of 24 women vying for the individual national title at Spectrum Entertainment Complex beginning on May 3.

UAB Finishes 10th in USBC Sectional
DALLAS, Texas -- The UAB bowling team finished 10th at the USBC Intercollegiate Team and Singles Sectionalsthis past weekend.
The Blazers played six traditional games in the singles event on Friday. Shauna Rodgers finished 31
st with a total pinfall of 1,078 and Samantha Johnson finished 40
th with a total pinfall of 1,061.
UAB started with 40 baker matches in the team event that was split between Saturday and Sunday. The Green and Gold posted a total of 6,919 to finish in 10
th place on the weekend.
