GREENSBORO, N.C. – For the second consecutive season, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) named North Carolina A&T State senior Edie Brewer an Honoable Mention All-South Region honoree.

"We would like to send our congratulations to Edie for making the AVCA South Region All-American honorable mention team," Aggies volleyball coach Hal Clifton said. "She has worked really hard and is very deserving of this honor.  Edie just does so many things on the court and there are very few players that does what she does. She runs the offense as a setter, then becomes an attacker and a passer.  She is fun to watch."

The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) voted Brewer Player of the Year for two consecutive seasons as well as earning first-team All-MEAC honors two straight seasons.

The West Chester, Ohio native ranks fourth in the conference with 6.83 assists per set, second with 0.62 service aces per set and eighth with 2.60 digs per set.  She also averages 1.88 kills and 0.26 blocks.
