She hit a season-best .533 against Howard on Feb. 25, one of two instances where Tut hit .500 or better.
Hopkins led the MEAC this season with 9.82 assists per set – 9.21 per set in conference play – and she was a seven-time MEAC Setter of the Week. She topped the 30-assist mark a MEAC-best 10 times this season, including a career-high 52 assists against rival Morgan State on March 11.
Roman averaged a MEAC-best 5.41 digs per set – in helping the Eagles lead the conference in the same category at 14.22 per set. Walsh led the Eagles to a 10-4 overall mark and the Northern Division regular-season title – a first for the program – and Coppin State enters the MEAC Volleyball Championship having won its last nine matches. After opening the campaign with a win at George Mason, the Eagles swept the season series against Delaware State and Morgan State, while also taking three of four matches against Howard.
