Odom Leads Howard Men's Golf with Top-20 First Day

WILLIAMSBURG, VA. -- Bison Greg Odom sit tied in 20th place at +6 following Monday's action at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate, in Williamsburg, Virginia to open Howard University men's golf inauguration season. 

Odom carded a 73-73-146 on the par 70, 6,799-yard Golden Horseshoe Gold Course.

Jakob Henriksson of Old Dominion leads the field at two under par, Lou Baker of Richmond sits at one under, and Nieves is third at even par.

After posting a 316 score during the first round Howard improved with a 295 score in the second, ending the day with a 611 total. 

Odom was consistent, Edrine Okong settled down and shot a team-best 72 in the second round after shooting 82 in the first round.
