DURHAM, N.C. – The North Carolina A&T men's basketball toppled N.C. Central, 79-63, on ESPNU Wednesday night inside the McDougald-McLendon Arena to extend their first-place lead in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Southern Division. The Eagles had previously won 18-straight home conference games.

“Another great program win,” said A&T coach Will Jones. “The guys laid it all on the line. What's great about it is we get to do it again this Saturday at the Club!”

The Aggies had many double-figure scorers in the game, led by senior guard Kwe Parker and junior wing Tyrone Lyons, who each notched 15 points apiece. Junior big Webster Filmore added 12 points and a career-high 14 boards in the best game of his career at A&T. His previous career-high was eight rebounds, and tonight was his first career double-double.

Senior facilitator Kameron Langley recorded 11 points to round out double-figure scoring for the Aggies. Langley also dished out nine assists, grabbed three rebounds, and swiped three steals. He is now three steals shy of tying the all-time school record (Phillip Allen, 225).
