No Tickets to be Sold for 2021 Air Force Reserve MEAC Basketball Tournament

NORFOLK, Va.,
 Feb. 23, 2021 – In accordance with crowd size guidelines from the CDC, as well as the Commonwealth of Virginia and the City of Norfolk that limit the Norfolk Scope Arena’s capacity to 250 people, the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) will not be selling tickets to the general public for the 2021 Air Force Reserve MEAC Basketball Tournament.

The tournament will be held at Norfolk Scope Arena on Thursday-Saturday, March 11-13, following a pair of first-round games on campus sites on Sunday, March 7.

Coaches and student-athletes will be allowed a limited number of guests to attend their games.

Fans will still have options to watch the tournament and follow along with the action. First-round through semifinal games will be streamed live on FloHoops, and Saturday’s championship games will be shown live on ESPN platforms. The men’s title game will be on ESPN2 at 1 p.m., and the women’s championship game will be shown live on ESPN3 and rebroadcast on ESPNU on Sunday, March 14 at 8 a.m.

In addition, the MEAC and VisitNorfolk have partnered to host a Virtual Watch Party on Saturday, March 13 at Town Point Park in downtown Norfolk. Space is limited to 250 people and tickets are available here.
