NORFOLK, Va., Feb. 23, 2021—
North Carolina A&T State senior Cameron Strombeck was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola, the conference office announced today.
Delaware State’s Saralyne Nassberg was named Rookie of the Week.
Strombeck (Sr., Durham, N.C.) was the top individual this past weekend at the MEAC Meet, helping lead the Aggies to the tournament crown over Delaware State. She averaged 227 pins in traditional play, topping the 200-pin mark four times in five games, and she rolled a weekend-high 268 against UAB – a game in which she recorded eight consecutive strikes.
Nassberg (Fr., Modesto, Calif.) was the top-finishing freshman at the MEAC Meet, coming in fifth with a 208.4 pinfall average to earn All-Tournament honors.

Logan Brown (Coppin State) was 14
th at the MEAC Meet with a 217 pinfall average.
Kaylah Castillo (Coppin State) was ninth at the MEAC Meet with a 198 pinfall average and bowled a weekend-best 221 against UAB.
Stefanny Toala (Delaware State) came in fourth at the MEAC Meet, earning All-Tournament honors with four 200-plud games and a weekend-best 258.
Melanie Katen (North Carolina A&T State) averaged 203.6 pins at the MEAC Meet to come in seventh, racking up four games of 200 or better.
Jamie Krasnigor (UAB) was 12
th at the MEAC Meet with a 189.4 pinfall average.
