BALTIMORE, Md. --
Anzhane' Hutton recorded her fourth double-double this season as Howard defeated Coppin State 79-60 on Saturday afternoon at PEC Arena.

With the win, Howard improves to 7-2 MEAC and 11-3 overall. Coppin falls to 2-7 MEAC and 2-9 overall. Howard now has a half-game lead over an idle Morgan State for the Northern Division title,

Iyanna Warren recorded a team-high 16 points. Joining Warren in double figures were Jayla Thornton (14), Brooklyn Fort-Davis (11), Destiny Howell (11) and and Hutton (10)

North Carolina A&T State 65, Norfolk State 60

NORFOLK, Va. -- 
North Carolina A&T State used a huge fourth quarter for its 10th consecutive game after a 65-60 win at Norfolk State at Echols Hall. 

The Aggies entered the third quarter trailing 46-40 but outscored the Spartans 25-14 in the final quarter.  

NCAT improved to 10-1 overall and 7-1 in the MEAC. Junior guard Jasmen Walton and graduate guard Chanin Scott each recorded 19 points. Walton shot 6-for-12 from the floor with five rebounds, six assists, two steals and a block. 

Scott shot 8-for-15 from the floor with five rebounds, three assists and a steal.

Senior forward Deja Winters added 11 points and three steals, while senior forward Jayla Jones-Pack added a team-high eight rebounds and two blocks. Freshman guard Sean Kelly Darks added six points, six rebounds, two assists and three steals.

Redshirt sophomore Faith Williams and redshirt freshman Promise Cunningham both tallied career-high point totals for North Carolina Central in an 84-60 non-conference loss at Georgia Southern Saturday afternoon inside Hanner Fieldhouse.
