MEAC Sees Five Programs Ranked in latest NTCA Poll

The Poll

The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) has five programs ranked in the latest National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) Top 25 poll, which was released on Friday -- including one newcomer.

Defending MEAC champion North Carolina A&T State moved up one spot from the preseason poll to sit in fourth, behind only Sam Houston State, McKendree and Nebraska.

Delaware State remained at No. 14, with Morgan State making its first appearance in the top 25 poll since 2010, coming in at No. 16. The Bears have won two tournament so far this season and are just one of two teams now ranked after being unranked in the preseason poll (the other being Lewis University).

Maryland Eastern Shore (No. 18) and Monmouth (No. 25) round out the MEAC's presence in the poll.
