TJ Madlock drained an off-balance 3-pointer from the corner with 0.4 seconds to go to give South Carolina State its first win over a Div. I opponent of the 2021-22 season--and of the Tony Madlock era--65-64 over South Florida Friday evening in the Yuengling Center.

The younger Madlock led the Bulldogs (2-7) with 15 points, going 5-for-11 from the floor. He was joined in double figures by Omar Croskey, who had 14 points and hit four 3-pointers of his own, and Jemal Davis, who chipped in 12 points and a tean-high seven rebounds off the bench.

Deaquan Williams also had seven boards for S.C. State.

Cornell 92, Coppin State 77

ITHACA, N.Y. --
Coppin State had two players drop at least 20 points Friday evening in Newman Arena, but it wasn't enough as Cornell defeated the Eagles 92-77.

Jesse Zaruela led the Eagles (1-11) with 25 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals, going 9-for-20 from the floor and hitting five 3-pointers. Tyree Corbett dropped 23 points of his own, while also grabbing a team-high 12 rebounds.

Mike Hood was also in double figures with 10 points. Nendah Tarke grabbed 10 boards to go along with eight points and four steals.
