WASHINGTON, D.C., Dec. 20, 2021 – Due to the recent rise in COVID-19 cases, Howard University has implemented additional measures to protect the student-athletes, coaching staff and fans. No fans will be allowed to attend sporting events hosted on campus during the 2021 holiday break.
 
As a result, no fans will be allowed to attend the women's basketball game against American University on Tuesday, December 21, inside Burr Gymnasium. This mandate applies to family, friends and the media.
 
Any patrons who purchased tickets will receive a refund.
