BALTIMORE, Md. -- 
The Coppin State women's basketball remains undefeated at home after a victorious 68-43 win over Winthrop Thursday night in the PEC Arena.

The Eagles move to 6-5 on the season and 3-0 at home for the first time since the 2013-14 season.

Aliyah Lawson led all players with 21 points and four steals, with a career-high seven made threes. Jalynda Salley was the second leading scorer, with a season-high 19 points, including nine rebounds, and led all players in blocks (3). Cortney Gardner had a career high with seven points and shot 3-of-4 from the field. 

Jewel Watkins led all players with a career high in rebounds (12). Mossi Staples and Alexandria Hamilton dished out six assists each.

NORFOLK, Va. --
Camille Downs recorded a double-double, with 22 points and 10 rebounds, to lead Norfolk State to a 67-56 win over UNC Wilmington in Echols Hall on Thursday.

The Spartans (4-6) have won two of their last three games.

Downs went 6-for-12 from the floor and hit eight of her nine free throws, while also notching four steals on the defensive end. Deja Francis added 18 points on 8-for-11 shooting.
