The fans have spoken, and Delaware State wide receiver Trey Gross -- along with quarterback Jared Lewis and running back Sy'Veon Wilkerson -- has won the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's (MEAC) Fans' Play of the Week.
With Howard leading 7-0 at the 7:12 mark of the first quarter, the Hornets had the ball at their own 41-yard line. Lewis took the snap out of the shotgun and handed the ball off to Wilkerson, who immediately turned around and tossed the ball back to Lewis. Lewis then aired the ball out to Gross, who was running down the center of the field.
Gross caught the ball at around the 10 and carried a defender into the end zone.
