BALTIMORE, Md. -- 
Coppin State women's basketball team remained undefeated in the PEC Arena on Sunday afternoon, defeating Saint Francis 68-38.

Coppin is now 2-0 at home for the first time since the 2013-14 season.

The Eagles move to 3-3 on the season, while Saint Francis is 0-5. Coppin is now 1-2 in the all-time record verses the Red Flash.

Freshman Jewel Watkins led all scorers with a career-high 16 points and seven rebounds. Mossi Staples dished in 14 points, while Aliyah Lawson notched 10 points with four rebounds. Alexandria Hamilton recorded 10 points, while Jalynda Salley tailed eight.

Jaia Alexander led the team in rebounds with four.

Coppin shot 13-for-20 from the free throw line.

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. -- 
Maryland Eastern Shore got some much needed minutes for the reserves on Sunday against visiting Millersville University and picked up a 74-39 victory in the process.

The Hawks (3-3) played all 13 active members of the roster 10 minutes or more and everyone scored.

It was a huge day for the bench, in fact, as they outscored the Marauders (1-4) reserves 48-15.

Point guard Mya Thomas led the Hawks with 10 points and was 2-for-2 from behind the arc in 20 minutes.

The Eastern Shore starters played a total of just 78 of 200 minutes in the contest.
