Delaware State's Inge Wins 11th MEAC Cricket Fan's Play of the Week Poll

Watch the Play

The fans have spoken, and Delaware State wide receiver Wade Inge has won the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's (MEAC) Fans' Play of the Week.

With the Hornets trailing 26-7 in the fourth quarter, quarterback Jared Lewis took the snap out of shotgun and rolled to his right. That motion drew the Spartans defense to that side of the field, leaving Inge all alone to run up the near sideline. Lewis' pass hit Inge in stride.

Inge then cut inside just before the 10-yard line and strode into the endzone to cut the lead to 26-14.

Delaware State won the game 28-26.

Inge's grab racked up more than 6,200 total votes. Check back to MEACSports.com next Tuesday for the final poll of the season to cast your vote after this coming weekend's action.
