Morgan State 126, Penn State Alleghany 71

BALTIMORE, Md. — Keith McGee scored a game-high 27 points off the bench as Morgan State reached the century mark for the second straight game, defeating Penn State Allegheny, 126-71, in non-conference action Thursday night at Hill Field House. 
 
The Bears improved to 2-0 for the season and have totaled 244 points (122 ppg) in their first two games. Forward Lagio Grantsaan had 22 points and a game-high 10 rebounds with two blocks and junior guard De'Torrion Ware had 17 points and six rebounds.

Senior guard Sherwyn Devonish added a game-high seven assists to go along with seven points and seven boards in 23 minutes.

Norfolk State 111, Penn State Wilkes Barre 55

NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State men's basketball team raced out to a 30-point lead in the first 10 minutes of the game and cruised from there, improving to a 2-0 on the young season with a 111-55 win over Penn State Wilkes-Barre on Thursday night at Echols Hall.

Christian Ings, Joe Bryant Jr. and Cahiem Brown all scored 14 points for the Spartans (2-0), who scored the fourth-most points in the school's Division I era. The Spartans made 64.7 percent of their field goals (44-of-68), which is the fourth-best mark in school history for any level.

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The South Carolina State men’s basketball team opened the Rising Coaches Cclassic with a 106-74 loss at the College of Charleston on Thursday evening at TD Arena.

James Cameron led the Bulldogs with 15 points, while Deaquan Williams added 14 points and seven rebounds.
