The fans have spoken, and Morgan State wide receiver Thomas Marcus has won the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's (MEAC) Fans' Play of the Week.

Morgan State had the ball on its own 28-yard line in the first quarter of a scoreless game this past Thursday against Delaware State, when quarterback Neil Boudreau took the snap out of the shotgun. Marcus ran down the near side, shaking the defender and catching the ball in stride near the Hornets' 40 and pulling away for the score.

That put the Bears up 7-0, and they went on to win 20-14.

Marcus's grab racked up more than 5,500 total votes. Check back to MEACSports.com next Tuesday for the next poll to cast your vote after this coming weekend's action.
