Watch the Play
The fans have spoken, and North Carolina Central tight end Quentin Chaplin has won the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's (MEAC) Fans' Play of the Week.
Chaplin won this week's Fans Play of the Week poll, presented by Cricket, thanks to a leaping one-handed touchdown grab in the Eagles' win at Morgan State this past Saturday. Near the end of the first quarter, Chaplin came off a block near the goal line as quarterback Davius Richard flipped the ball in the air to avoid the pressure. Chaplin leaped midway into the end zone and extended his right hand --
-- Which was where he found the ball and brought it in to tie the game at 7-7.
Smith's grab racked up more than 9,000 total votes. Check back to
MEACSports.com next Tuesday for the next poll to cast your vote after this coming weekend's action.
