AP 2020 NFL All-Pro Teams
Indanapolis Colts linebacker Darius Leonard, who was a two-time Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Defensive Player of the Year at South Carolina State, has been named NFL First Team All-Pro by The Associated Press, it was announced on Friday.
A Pro Bowl starter this season, Leonard started 14 games for the Colts, racking up 132 tackles (86 solo), seven tackles for loss and three sacks. The two-time MEAC Defensive Player of the Year and 2018 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year also defended seven passes, forced three fumbles and recovered two on the season.
Despite missing two games, Leonard ranked eighth in the NFL in tackles.
This is Leonard's third time making the All-Pro Team; he was Second Team in 2019 and First Team in 2018.
Leonard and the Colts, the AFC’s No. 7 seed, will be on the road on Saturday to take on the Buffalo Bills; kickoff is at 1:05 p.m. on CBS.
