NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State men's basketball team has added a home game against North Carolina Wesleyan to its schedule for next week, the Spartan program announced today.
The two teams will play on Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 4 p.m. at Joseph Echols Hall. It will mark the first ever meeting between the two programs.
Norfolk State carries a 4-3 record into this weekend's games at home against Morgan State on Saturday and Sunday. They will serve as the Spartans' MEAC openers after last weekend's games with Howard were postponed.
North Carolina Wesleyan is currently 2-2 overall, with both losses coming against Division I schools in East Carolina and Appalachian State. The Battling Bishops have not played since Dec. 9.
