NaJai Pollard Signs Second Professional Contract

DOVER, Del. -- After a stellar rookie season in Sweden, former Delaware State great NaJai Pollard has signed her second professional contract, as she has become the newest member of Duzce Belediye. Her newest team competes in the country of Turkey.

Pollard finished her rookie season with Helios v Basket in Switzerland. The Virginia native led the league in scoring with 26.3 points per game. She also led her team in rebounds (10.1 rpg) and blocks (1.1 bpg).

Pollard played for Delaware State University from 2016-19. During her time with the Hornets, she set several individual records, including the school records for most points and blocks in a career. She is fifth in MEAC history in career blocked shots (254), seventh in career field goals made (753), ninth in career scoring (1,988 points) and 10th in career scoring average (17.8 ppg).
