Larry Scott Details Becoming Howard's Head Football Coach

WASHINGTON, D.C., June 29, 2020 — Larry Scott is entering his first season as head football coach at Howard.

Scott enters his first head coaching position following seven seasons as an assistant at Power Five schools: Miami (2013-15, tight ends and interim head coach), Tennessee (2016-17, tight ends and offensive coordinator) and Florida (2018-19, tight ends).

Scott joined the show "Tennessee Two-A-Days" to discuss becoming the head coach at Howard.

"I am excited about the opportunity and really looking forward to many years at Howard University," Scott said.

The first-year Howard head coach discussed building his staff, going through spring practices when the coronavirus pandemic arrived and his time coaching in the SEC that included two seasons at Tennessee.
