Five MEAC Bowling Programs Ranked in Final NTCA Poll

2019-20 NTCA Top 25 Poll - April 2020


The National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) released its final Top 25 poll of the 2019-20 season on Friday, and once again, five Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) programs were ranked.

MEAC rehgular-season champion Maryland Eastern Shore once again led the way, ranking sixth in the nation after going 84-29 on the season (including a perfect 20-0 in conference play). The Hawks, who boasted the MEAC Rookie of the Year (Brooke Roberts) and Coach of the Year (Kayla Bandy) would've been the top seed in the MEAC Bowling Championship.

North Carolina A&T State (73-41) finished 2019-20 ranked No. 9 in the country, with Delaware State (59-37), with MEAC Bowler of the Year Alexis Neuer, finishing the season at No. 16.

Associate members UAB and Monmouth were ranked 21st and 22nd, respectively.

McKendree finished the season ranked No. 1 in the nation (earning 33 of a possible 34 first-place votes), followed by Arkansas State, Nebrasks, Vanderbilt and Sam Houston State.
