NORFOLK, Va., March 8, 2020--The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) was at MacArthur Center in downtown Norfolk on Sunday afternoon for its second annual pep rally to kick off the 2020 MEAC Basketball Tournament (March 10-14 at Norfolk Scope Arena).

The hour and a half celebration featured live music and DJs. iHeart Media was on hand for entertainment, as were select performers who had auditioned in January during MEAC Center Court. Such acts included the Zumba Kids, Ni'Eve and 4God Meech.

Cheerleaders from Norfolk State and North Carolina Central were also there, performing cheers and dances and participating in a couple dance-offs.

Gift bags courtesy of Coca-Cola were handed out to contest winners.
