LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (Feb. 21, 2020)-The Morgan State softball team scored 12 runs on 12 hits and recorded 11RBI, as the Lady Bears cruised to a 12-2 non-conference victory over Stetson in five innings, in the opener of the Diamond 9 Citrus Classic on Friday afternoon at ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex.
The win was the first of the season for the Lady Bears, who improved to 1-4, while Stetson fell to 5-5 on the season. Morgan State's victory also ended a five-game losing skid to the Hatters, who prior to today's win had outscored the Lady Bears, 46-2.

CHARLESTON, S.C. – North Carolina A&T softball dropped the first two games of the Charleston Invitational at the Charleston Southern University (CSU) Softball Field Friday. The Aggies fell to Bradley 11-0 in five innings in the first game and lost to host Charleston Southern 10-1 in five innings in the second game.

Dover, Del. (Feb. 21, 2020) --- Winthrop scored early and often in a 17-0 victory over Delaware State in the opening game of the Green & White Classic, hosted by UNC Charlotte, today.
The Eagles scored two runs in the first inning, three in the second, eight in the third and four in the fourth to improve to 7-5 this season.
Delaware State had three hits in the contest, two by Hannah Crumblish (2-for-2), to fall to 0-7 this season.
Crumblish is the Hornets' leading hitter with a .438 batting average (7-for-16) through seven games.

Tamiera Sanchez both supplied the North Carolina Central University softball team with two-run hits, but Ohio University was able to score five runs in its last two innings to fight back from a four-run deficit to win, 7-6, at nearly midnight Friday night of the Charleston Invitational.
With two outs in the bottom of the seventh and trailing by two runs, the Bobcats were able to load up the bases after consecutive batters were hit by a pitch. An error in the outfield on the ensuing play allow two runs to score and tie the game.
