Kameron Langley had a triple-double with 12 points, a career-high 13 assists and 11 rebounds and North Carolina A&T beat rival North Carolina Central 77-60 on Monday night, the Aggies' eighth consecutive home victory.
Ronald Jackson grabbed eight rebounds and scored a career-high 28 points for the Aggies (13-14, 9-3 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) who entered a half-game behind the first-place Eagles.
Kwe Parker scored 11 points and
Devin Haygood had nine.
The Aggies are looking for their first MEAC regular-season title since 1991-92.
The Eagles had three turnovers and missed three straight shots before scoring their first basket while the Aggies opened with an 18-2 run and led 40-20 at halftime.
C.J. Keyser scored 20 points and
Ty Graves had 11 for NC Central (12-13, 8-3), which saw its five-game win streak end.
Deven Palmer grabbed 10 rebounds and
Jordan Perkins had six assists.
Jibiri Blount, who entered the game second in the conference in scoring with 19.3 points per game, scored eight points on 3-of-11 shooting for the Eagles.

Maryland Eastern Shore 81, Florida A&M 71
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. | MJ Randolph and
Rod Melton, Jr. finished with a combined 45 points, but it wasn't enough as the Florida A&M University men's basketball team saw its four-game win streak snapped on Monday night with an 81-71 loss to Maryland Eastern Shore in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) game on Monday night at the Hytche Athletic Center.
Florida A&M (10-14 overall, 8-5 MEAC), which had yet to drop a game in the month of February, could not withstand a big second-half by Maryland Eastern Shore in falling on the road. The Hawks (5-21, 4-7) won for the second straight game and completed the Florida sweep after defeating Bethune-Cookman, 66-58, on Saturday.
Melton paced the Rattlers with 24 points, on 9-of-13 shooting, including 4-of-8 from 3-point range. He also added four rebounds and four steals. Randolph tied a career high with 21 points, two boards, two steals and one assist.
Da'Shawn Phillip led Maryland Eastern Shore with 14 points, eight rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks. Glen Anderson registered 13 points, two assists and one steal, while AJ Cheeseman poured in 12 points, eight boards, one steal and one assist. Canaan Bartley recorded 11 points, a team-high five assists and one rebound.

Bethune-Cookman 71, Delaware State 70
DOVER, Del. – Isaiah Bailey sank two free throws with 6.1 seconds left to give Bethune-Cookman a 71-70 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference victory over Delaware State Monday night.
Delaware State scored seven unanswered points to take a 70-69 lead on Pinky Wiley's two free throws with 13 seconds to go. That was the Hornet's only lead of the game.
Bailey drew the foul and connected on his 11
th and 12
th free throws of the night to help the Wildcats (13-13 overall, 7-5 MEAC) regain the lead.
The Hornets had the last shot, but John Crosby's lay-up went in and out and
Cletrell Pope snagged the rebound as time expired.

Morgan State 78, South Carolina State 72
ORANGEBURG, S.C. --
Malik Miller had 14 points to lead five Morgan State players in double figures as the Bears defeated South Carolina State 78-72 on Monday night.
Lagio Grantsaan and David Syfax Jr. added 13 points apiece for the Bears. Sherwyn Devonish and
Stanley Davis chipped in 12 points each.
Rayshawn Neal had 17 points and six assists for the Bulldogs (11-13, 6-6 Mid-Eastern Conference).
Tariq Simmons added 17 points and six rebounds.
Damani Applewhite had 10 points, nine rebounds and three blocks.
The Bears improve to 2-0 against the Bulldogs this season. Morgan State defeated South Carolina State 77-63 on Jan. 6. Morgan State (14-14, 8-5) faces Delaware State at home next Monday. South Carolina State takes on Bethune-Cookman on the road on Saturday.

Norfolk State 80, Coppin State 60
NORFOLK, Va. - Senior Jermaine Bishop scored 24 points, 22 in the first half, and freshman Tyrese Jenkins added 15 second-half points to lead the Norfolk State men's basketball team to an 80-60 win over Coppin State on Monday night at Joseph Echols Hall.
NSU's strong second half on the glass - +18 after halftime - helped the Spartans pull away from the Eagles in their second-to-last home game of the year. They overcame a 13-point first-half deficit to take an eight-point lead at the break, ballooning their lead to as much as 23 in the second.
The Spartans also took over sole possession of first place in the MEAC at 9-2, a half-game ahead of North Carolina A&T (9-3).
Bishop tied his season high in points after shooting a career-best 6-of-11 from deep with five rebounds, two assists and two steals. After playing just two minutes in the first half, Jenkins made 3-of-7 from 3-point range and 6-of-10 overall in the second for a 15-point performance. NSU finished with 11 3-pointers on the night.
The Spartans got back to .500 at 13-13 overall. Senior Steven Whitley had a double-double of 11 points and a season-high 12 rebounds with five assists and three steals. Junior Devante Carter added seven points with a career-high 11 rebounds, five assists and two steals as well.
