BALTIMORE – Coppin State freshman bowler Logan Brown rolled her first-ever 300 game on Sunday, Nov. 22 at the Money Bags Scratch Open held at Crofton Bowling Center.
"I don't think I have ever been more nervous in my life, but I knew that this was my chance to take a big step in my bowling career," Brown said. "My whole family bowls and we had a challenge about who would win. I guess I was right in saying that it would be me."
A native of Waldorf, Md., Brown received CSU's prestigious Fanny Jackson Coppin Scholarship and was an Honor Roll student at Westlake High School. Brown previously won the 2019 Paul Goodwin Youth Tournament, as well as both the Scratch and Handicap NCAUSBCA Vern Burke Tournaments in 2018.
The Eagles are scheduled to open the 2020-21 season at their CSU Lady Eagles Invitational on Jan. 30-31 at Bowl America in Glen Burnie, Md.
