NSU's Jones to Appear Thursday on HRSC's SportsTalk 757

NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State head men's basketball coach Robert Jones will appear live on SportsTalk 757 on Thursday morning. Hosted by Claudell Clark, executive director of the Hampton Roads Sports Commission (HRSC), the interview will take place on both Zoom and Facebook Live.
 
The conversation will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, with Clark broadcasting live from Joseph Echols Hall. Fans catch watch the show via Zoom or the HRSC's Facebook page.
 
SportsTalk 757 brings together the area's coaches, athletic professionals, athletes and the community to discuss topics pertaining to the future of sports in the region twice a month. Former Spartan and NFL player Don Carey was the show's first guest back in August. All interviews are available on-demand on the Hampton Roads Sports Commission's YouTube page.

Jones begins his eighth season in charge of the Spartan program in 2020-21. He owns a 125-111 overall record, including 84-28 in the MEAC for a .750 winning percentage. Under Jones, the Spartans have advanced to the postseason five times in the six seasons that postseason was played.
