GREENSBORO, N.C. – Former North Carolina A&T State big man Devin Haygood has signed his first professional contract to play for Kb Trepca in Mitrovica, Kosovo in Europe.
The club is one of the most successful in Kosovo, having won three national championships and four Kosova Basketball Cups.
This signing comes a couple of months after Haygood inked a deal with NVEA Management earlier this summer.
In his first and only year with the Aggies in 2019-20, Haygood averaged an impressive 7.7 points and 4.2 rebounds and led the team in blocked shots with 43.
He scored in double-figures 10 times throughout the season including a career-high 19 against Mid-Atlantic Christian on Jan. 3.
He snatched a season-high nine rebounds against Kent State on Dec. 17. Haygood played at Youngstown State before coming to N.C. A&T as a graduate transfer. Haygood becomes the second Aggie this year to sign a professional contract joining Ronald Jackson, who signed with BG Göttingen of the Basketball Bundesliga league earlier this summer.
