Jerry Bembry of The Undefeated on Friday penned a feature on South Carolina State football in advance of Super Bowl LIV in Miami, Fla., highlighting the success alumni have had since their days in Orangeburg, S.C.

Specifically, Bembry features offensive lineman Alex Taylor, who last week participated in the Senior Bowl; two-time MEAC Defensive Player of the Year Darius Leonard, who this past weekend was in the Pro Bowl; and Alex Brown, a rookie with the Kansas City Chiefs who will be playing in the Super Bowl on Sunday.

According to the article, South Carolina State is the only FCS program this year to have had a player participating in the Senior Bowl, Pro Bowl and Super Bowl.
