Delaware State Wins Nine at Stormin' Blue & White, Neuer Named MVP

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- A 9-3 overall record and Most Outstanding Performer award for Alexis Neuer highlighted Delaware State's showing at the Stormin' Blue & White Vegas Classic women's bowling tournament, hosted by Mount St. Mary's this past weekend.

The Hornets were seventh in the final standings of the 13-team tournament field, which featured four of the top five and nine of the top 15 teams in the latest National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) Top 25 poll.

Delaware State, ranked 14^th in the poll, posted a 5-2 record in Baker matches and a 4-1 mark in traditional contests. No. 5 Vanderbilt captured the tournament title.

Monmouth Resumes Season at Stormin' Blue & White

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Monmouth opened its spring semester this past weekend at the Stormin' Blue & White Classic at South Point Hotel & Casino, hosted by Mount St. Mary's.

Sophomore Skylar Smith led Monmouth with a total of 994 pins across five traditional games.

As a team, Monmouth had an 6-7 record over the three-day event, highlighted by Baker match wins over No. 3 Nebraska and No. 25 Prairie View A&M.
