S.C. State's Davis Receives Another Honor

The awards keep coming in for South Carolina State redshirt freshman linebacker B.J. Davis, who earlier this week was named the BoxToRow National Player of the Week.

Davis was already named MEAC Rookie of the Week and STATS FCS Freshman Player of the Week.

Davis fueled South Carolina State's 28-13 upset of then-No. 9 Wofford on Saturday, collecting nine tackles, including seven solos and a national-high four for loss (17 yards), one interception, one pass breakup and one quarterback hurry. The Bulldogs limited Wofford to 177 rushing yards - 135 below the Terriers' 2018 average.
