NORFOLK, Va., Sept. 19, 2019—The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) will be among the many conferences and other entities celebrating the 150th anniversary of college football, CFB 150, this year, through a series of interviews shared on the conference’s social media platforms.
The video interviews, which were conducted and recorded during MEAC Football Media Day in July, will feature football student-athletes and each head coach from the MEAC’s nine football-playing institutions explaining what the game of football has meant to them and the impact football has had on their lives.
“These videos are the MEAC’s way of celebrating not only our student-athletes and coaches, but also the positive values football has contributed to our American society, during the 150th anniversary of college football,” MEAC Commissioner Dr. Dennis E. Thomas said.
The MEAC will be releasing weekly videos of student-athletes and coaches for the public to view. These videos will be available on the official conference website, www.MEACSports.com, as well as the MEAC’s social media channels – on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube @MEACSports.
