NORFOLK, Va., Sept. 17, 2019—The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) has created and established records books for its 16 sponsored championship sports, the first step in a process of archiving and sharing the conference’s history as the MEAC approaches its 50th anniversary in 2020-21.
These records can be accessed by visiting the conference’s official website, MEACSports.com, hovering over The MEAC tab at the top of the page, and clicking on the All-Time Records link at the bottom of the left-hand column in the dropdown menu. On that page, the books are separated by sport, in alphabetical order, with a thumbnail of the cover image.
You can also visit that page by clicking

Each records book is also available through its respective sport’s page.
These books were compiled by the MEAC media relations staff, with assistance from current and former member institutions’ sports information directors – including MEAC Hall of Famers Ed Hill, Jr. (former Howard sports information director), Bill Hamilton (former South Carolina State SID) and Joe McIver (Morgan State Senior Associate Athletics Director).
These records books are part of an ongoing, all-inclusive process of digitizing the MEAC’s archives. Furthermore, anyone who has documented records that are not included in the MEAC’s archives should submit documentation of records to the MEAC media relations office for confirmation.
