NORFOLK, Va., April 25, 2019—Savannah State University will host the 2019 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men’s Golf Championship Monday-Tuesday, April 29-30, 2018 at the Crosswinds Golf Club in Savannah, Ga.
The championship will feature four-time defending champion Augusta University, along with Bethune-Cookman, Maryland Eastern Shore, North Carolina A&T State, North Carolina Central and Savannah State. The winner will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Div. I Men’s Golf Championship.
The three-round championship will be played over the course of two days, beginning on Monday, April 29 at 8 a.m. with the first two rounds. The final round will tee off at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30. Live scoring will be available through GolfStat.
The NCAA Div. I Men’s Golf Selection Show will air on Wednesday, May 1 at 9 p.m. on Golf Channel.
The Crosswinds Golf Club is a unique par-72 course with narrow fairways that features five par-5s and five par-3s, along with TiFeagle greens and Bermuda fairways.
