MEAC Announces Bowling Academic Honors

NORFOLK, Va., March 20, 2019—The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) has announced the 2019 Women’s Bowling All-Academic Selections, honoring 44 student-athletes from the conference’s 11 bowling institutions who have achieved academic success in the spring 2018 and fall 2018 semesters.
 
MEAC sophomore, junior and senior student-athletes with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average (GPA), as well as transfer student-athletes who have been in residence at the institution for at least one year, are eligible for All-Academic accolades.
 
“I would like to congratulate our women’s bowling student-athletes who maintained a 3.0 or better grade point average during the spring 2018 and fall 2018 semesters,” said Commissioner Dennis E. Thomas. “I would also like to acknowledge and thank the institutional and athletic academic support staffs, faculty, coaches and families for their support in the student-athletes’ success.”
