B-CU Great Tabb Leads Horsens IC to Championship

BCU alum ('18) picks up hardware in first season

HORSENS, Denmark -- Bethune-Cookman alumnus Brandon Tabb ('18) led Horsens IC to a league championship in his first season as a professional in a 105-70 triumph against the Svendborg Rabbits.

After knocking off the two Aarhus crews Bakken Bears and EBAA to reach the final after previously earning 11 final appearances and three trophies, Tabb's Horsens squad added to its illustrious history.

In front of a raucous crowd, Tabb delivered another excellent performance after scoring 18 and 20 points in his previous two games. While there was no MVP named, Tabb was recognized by fans and media as a key member in the postseason run.

"Our team is great. We came out, played hard, and stuck to our game plan. We got the job done, and I cannot wait to celebrate with my team tonight," Tabb told a Fullcourt reporter in a confetti-filled postgame celebration.  "I couldn't be here without my teammates, God, and my family."

Tabb led B-CU to a share of the 2018 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) regular-season title, and he was named the 2018 MEAC Player of the Year.
