TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Nic Thomas tied his career high with 26 points, and Norfolk State earned a 66-54 win over Florida A&M on Monday night at the Al Lawson Center. In a game shown live on ESPNU, Thomas had a shooting night that included 6-of-12 overall, 4-of-6 from beyond the arc, and a perfect 10-of-10 from the charity stripe. He carried a Spartan team that held the Rattlers to a 34 percent overall clip for the game.

DURHAM, N.C. – North Carolina Central followed its big win over Maryland Eastern Shore with an equally as strong performance against Delaware State as the Eagles posted an 87-52 victory at McDougald-McLendon Arena on Monday.
NCCU (12-13, 7-4 MEAC) posted another 50 percent shooting night as the Eagles made 32 of 64 attempts, marking the third time this season that the maroon and gray shot over 50 percent from the floor in back-to-back games.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Cletrell Pope posted his 17th double-double with 19 points, and teammate Mark Gordon dropped 19 off the bench, but Bethune-Cookman fell to visiting Howard 79-73 Monday night at Historic Moore Gym.
BCU (11-14, 6-5) took an early 14-point lead with 7:48 in the first half on Gordon's first of five three-pointers, but HU (12-13, 6-4) slowly mounted a comeback on the heels of R.J. Cole's 32-point performance.
The Bison cut the deficit to a single point at the break, 38-37, after starting the game 0-12 from the field.
