NORFOLK, Va., Feb. 12, 2019—Monmouth University junior Kyla Day was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Week, the conference office announced today.
Hicks (Jr., Hoosick Falls, N.Y.) led the Hawks individually at the Sunshine State Classic, as she averaged 207.80 pins over five traditional games, which earned her an overall sixth-place finish amongst all competitors. Day finished two games with 200+ pins, including a career-high game of 248, taking her to a total of nine 200+ games on the season.

Diamond Hunter (MSU) was named tournament MVP after totaling 1,757 pins, averaging 175.7 in 10 Baker games at the Golden Bear classic, including a 211 performance against No. 19 Mount St. Mary’s, as well as a 202 performance against Wilmington.
Taylor Russell (UAB) accumulated a total pin fall of 946 in a five-match stint at the Sunshine State Winter Classic for an average of 189.20 per match, also notching her eighth 200+ performance of the season.
