The Spartans used a 7-0 run in the fourth quarter to walk away with a come-from-behind win over North Florida at Swisher Gymnasium on Friday afternoon.

The 7-0 run by the Spartans (3-3) was highlighted by a Le'Deja James' go-ahead layup with 25 seconds left in the game. Norfolk State was down 54-50 with just under four minutes left after a layup by UNF's Adrienne Jackson, but the Ospreys (4-4) did not score another basket for the remainder of the game while the Spartans put together the biggest scoring run of the contest.

For the whole fourth quarter, the Spartans outscored the Ospreys 16-7.

Norfolk State capped off the Jacksonville Thanksgiving Classic with a 71-64 victory over the host Dolphins, outscoring Jacksonville 42-17 in the second half and overtime combined to erase a 24-point deficit on Saturday at Swisher Gymnasium.

Armani Franklin tied the game with a free throw with 2:13 left in regulation, capping off a 32-14 run beginning at the start of the second half. After a JU offensive foul, Chanette Hicks flew through traffic to hit a layup to put the Spartans (4-3) up 63-61 with 48 seconds left, their first lead of the game.
