BALTIMORE, Md. --
Senior guard Stanley Davis had a season-high 28 points with 11 rebounds to lead Morgan State to a 96-72 victory over Chestnut Hill College on Monday night at Hill Field House.
 
Davis, who recorded his first double-double of the season, connected on 9 of 14 shots from the floor and was 8 of 9 from the free throw line.

Morgan State (5-8) led from start to finish, jumping out to a double-figure lead by the time Troy Baxter buried a 3-pointer to give the Bears a 12-1 lead with 16:20 left in the first half. 

Sophomore guard Sherwyn Devonish-Prince finished with 16 points (8-13 FG), Baxter added 14 points and nine boards, and sophomore guard Isaiah Burke had 10 points and four assists.

Villanova transfer Dylan Painter came off the bench in his season debut to lead four Delaware double-figure scorers with 19 points in the Blue Hen's 86-78 victory over Delaware State in the Route 1 Rivalry at 76ers Fieldhouse in Wilmington Monday evening. The Hens snapped a two-game losing streak and avenged a last-second loss to the Hornets a year ago to improve to 10-2 this season.

Senior forward Ronald Jackson notched his fourth double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds, but North Carolina A&T State fell to the UTEP Miners 72-54 in the first round of the Don Haskins Invitational on Monday.
