The fans have made their voices heard for the second time in 2019, and they decided that Morgan State's Rico Kennedy turned in the Play of the Week for Week 6. The fans also selected Bethune-Cookman wide receiver Jimmie Robinson and North Carolina A&T State linebacker Kyin Howard as their Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively.
Kennedy picked up nearly 53 percent of the vote in having the play the fans deemed was the best from Week 6. Wildcats quarterback Akevious Williams faked a handoff and faced pressure from his right, and he responded by tossing a short pass to his left with 8:07 remaining in the first quarter.
Kennedy separated from his blocker to get his hand up, tipping the football into the air. He then dove at the 40 to catch the ball, juggling it before finally securing possession once he rolled onto his back.
Robinson caught five passes for 136 yards and three touchdowns in Bethune-Cookman's 31-20 win over Morgan State. He averaged 27.2 yards per catch and had a long of 70 yards on the afternoon -- a play in which he scored.
Howard racked up 15 tackles in the Aggies' 58-19 win over Norfolk State, with 4.5 of those coming for a loss. He also forced a fumble in an afternoon in which the Spartans committed four turnovers.
