NORFOLK, Va., Jan. 22, 2019—Maryland Eastern Shore junior Brigitte Jacobs was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Week, the conference office announced today.
Jacobs (Jr., Freeport, Ill.) helped Maryland Eastern Shore finish third in the Kutztown Invitational this past weekend, and she was the second-best individual in the tournament. She averaged 236.6 pins in traditional play, and she topped the 200-pin mark in all five of those games. Her weekend best was 257, which is currently the sixth-highest single-game mark in the MEAC this season.
Other Top Performers
Ericka Quesada (NCAT) averaged 216 pins in traditional play at the Kutztown Invitational, including a weekend-best of 236 to rank fifth in the individual standings.
Caitlin Cunningham (UAB) was UAB’s top bowler at the Kutztown Invitational, averaging just over 208 pins in traditional play.
