North Carolina A&T State continued to make headlines, as the Aggies are now ranked No. 5 in the latest STATS FCS Top 25 poll and No. 6 in the current AFCA FCS Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.

The defending MEAC champion is off to a start unlike any other FCS team, already having beaten Top 10 and FBS opponents to extend the nation's longest winning streak to 14 games. The Aggies (2-0), ranked 14th in the preseason, jumped up to No. 5 in the STATS FCS Top 25 on Monday, receiving two first-place votes.

The Aggies are also ranked No. 1 in both the BOXTOROW.com media and coaches polls.

The Aggies continue non-conference play this weekend, as they'll host Gardner-Webb of the Big South at 6 p.m.
