MEAC Well-Represented in NTCA All-Academic Honors

BROOKLYN, N.Y.--The National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) released its 2017-18 All-Academic team and individual honors this week, recognizing seven programs and 45 individual student-athletes from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC).

In all, the NTCA recognized 39 programs and 268 individuals. A team must have a cumulative GPA for the 2017-18 academic year of 3.2 or higher for program recoginition, and individuals with a 3.4 GPA for the academic year were also honored.

Among the programs honored were Delaware State, Maryland Eastern Shore, Norfolk State, Morgan State and 2018 MEAC champion North Carolina A&T State, as well as new associate members Alabama Birmingham (UAB) and Monmouth.
