STILLWATER, Okla.--PING First Team All-America honorees for Division I were announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) following the stroke-play portion of the NCAA Division I Championships on Monday at Karsten Creek Golf Club. Augusta senior Broc Everett earned his first All-American honor of his career, after winning the 2018 NCAA National Championship. 

Everett paced the team in every round at Karsten Creek, firing three straight 70s (-2) and a final-round 71 (-1). Tied at 7-under-par after regulation, Everett edged out Auburn's Brandon Mancheno in the southpaw showdown with a birdie in the opening playoff hole on No. 18 to win his first collegiate tournament in his last collegiate start.

Everett and Mancheno's 7-under 281 set the course record for a 72-hole score at Karsten Creek.

The 6-4 lefty from West Des Moines, Iowa, Everett competed in 13 events and 40 rounds this season. He led the team with a 71.88 stroke average, posting eight rounds in the 60s and par or better par 25 times. Everett had six top-five finishes and nine top-25 marks. He shot 67 (-4) and back-to-back 66s (-5) at the NCAA Raleigh Regional May 14-16 to finish with a 199 for the week – tying the school record for the low 54 hole total. He finished runnerup at the event.

Everett plays in his first post-collegiate tournament May 31-June 3 at the Freedom 55 Financial Open in Vancouver, Canada – part of the Mackenzie Tour – PGA Tour Canada. He tees off at 9:10 a.m. (PDT) on Thursday. Everett qualified for the PGA Tour Canada after advancing in the PGA TOUR Canada Q-School-USA EAST 2 event in Lakeland, Fla. April 27.
