MEAC Lands Six on BOXTOROW WBB All-America Teams

BOXTOROW Women's Basketball All-America Teams

Six Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) women's basketball student-athletes were named to BOXTOROW's All-America teams, which were announced on Tuesday.

Bethune-Cookman guard Angel Golden, the MEAC Player of the Year, and Delaware State forwardNaJai Pollard, the Preseason Player of the Year, were each named First Team.

Among the MEAC student-athletes represented on the Second Team are Bethune-Cookman's Ashanti Hunt (the MEAC Defensive Player of the Year), Coppin State's Genesis Lucas (First Team All-MEAC), Norfolk State's Kayla Roberts (First Team All-MEAC) and North Carolina A&T State's C'Coriea Foy (Second Team All-MEAC).

In addition, Tarrell Robinson of North Carolina A&T State was named BOXTOROW Coach of the Year after leading the Aggies to a share of the MEAC regular-season title, their second MEAC Tournament crown in three years and a 23-win campaign.
